Jenny Scown's distinctive photography is widely published both nationally and internationally in books, magazines, calendars, cards and brochures. She has traveled extensively pursuing her own concepts and on commissioned assignments over the last twenty years. Jenny’s style is natural, artistic and creative.

Jenny is based in Hamilton, New Zealand. She works from her spacious purpose built Inspirit Studio and Gallery halfway between Hamilton and Cambridge. As well as illustrative photography for editorial and commercial projects Jenny has developed a unique collection of photography based artworks and fine art limited edition prints called ‘Inspirit’ her registered Trademark brand.

The ‘Inspirit’ collections include innovative artwork products ranging from art cards designed to frame to custom designed artwork on stretched canvas and framed limited edition photographic prints. Her distinctive artwork reflects her passion for the natural world, New Zealand, art and creativity in all its forms.

Starting out in newspapers and magazines with her photography gave her a diverse and experimental background to build on. At the beginning of her freelance career, she was based in Holland and London where she worked primarily as a photojournalist contributing to magazines Jenny has also been the author of award winning book, calendar and card publishing projects.
